Thanks, the account has been removed, you should be clear to register.
No big mystery this most likely happens when someone else with a very similar number mistakenly entered yours. It doesn't indicate that someone else has had access to your phone.
An another scenario is that this is a number that has been recycled by the networks. If a number goes dormant then it's normal practice after a certain period for a network to re issue old numbers.
The account was dormant and never been used so it's likely. -

Do you get an error what does it say, can you give us more to go on? Does it say that your number is already being used as with the person above?
