saving existing texts? charges for G1 phone?
I have the G1 and don't understand how this works. Will all text messages automatially go to this website? Will they be deleted if I delete them from my phone? Will I be charged? How do I save the text messages already on my phone?

Yes the app automatically sends all the text messages you receive to Treasuremytext.com. You don't have to do anything. It will give you a little notification each time it saves a message so you'll know it's working.
If you delete messages from your phone then they will still be there on Treasuremytext. So you can keep your phones memory free of old or private messages and in case you lost your phone you've still got them all on Treasuremytext.
It doesn't cost you anything to use the app. Messages are saved from your G1 using your Data connection (the same one used for internet browsing). This means there are no SMS charges and with the G1 you probably have an unlimited Data tariff so there are no costs.
You can still save any old messages you want to keep by forwarding via SMS to one of our numbers. If your in the U.S. this is the standard mobile number (203) 434-0893. This costs the same as it would to send an SMS to any other regular mobile/cellphone.

Inappropriate?so it only saves the texts I receive, not the ones I send in reply? I want to save the entire thread. So am I correct in understanding that if I want to do so I have to forward my own replies using the 203 number? THANKS>

Inappropriate? We're working on the sent messages, it'll be available in an update soon but it's not there just yet. For now your right in thinking you would have to forward them.

Inappropriate? It does not always send the messages I am receiving to the website, and I just found one on the website that I never got on my phone???
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? There could be a couple of reasons why a message doesn't save. Two could be that if your phone doesn't currently have a data connection it won't save. Another is that due to problems on our end that we're dealing with they don't save. We'd love to guarantee every message saving but technical issues can sometimes get in the way.
Any messages which are important that don't get saved you can always save by forwarding to the site by SMS.
Regards the message that isn't yours that's definitely a bug and we'll take a look. Can you send to support@treasuremytext.com details of the message which isn't yours. -
ok so i have 4000 text from my boyfriend which im trying to save... i have to forward each one to my account? -
Inappropriate?Right now yes you would have to forward each one. That could take some time so you could start with just saving your favourites.
