Sending texts - message requires number or contact
Hi guys,
trying to send a text but whether I do it through send text or the sms link next to a person's name (when it puts the number in the 'to' field for me) when I click on send it says 'requires number or contacts' as if I hadn't..

It is a bug. I see this when you enter a users name by hand but not from clikcing an SMS link :(
When you enter a contacts name you should see a drop down list of your contacts. It's important you select the user from that list and that it fills it in for you, if you don't you will get the error.
Once you get this error no matter what you fill in you can't get rid of it. Until it's fixed the 'hack' is to reload the page by clicking a folder for example and then creating your SMS again. This will clear out the error.

Inappropriate?Hi Paul, I don't get a drop down list! I was expecting one but no show.. nothing happens, just an empty text field where the number would be, clicking in it does not bring anything up..
I have managed to send a text today the other way however, clicking on sms next to a contact's name.. -
Inappropriate?Noted... The idea is as you type a name or number a list appears suggesting possible recipients from your list of contacts, sort of like a popup but better. We'll investigate with FF.
