The philosophy originally behind Treasuremytext is as a place to store just your favorite, sentimental SMS messages. This is different from a disaster data recovery backup everything philosophy, hence the lack in the original design of the iPhone app for a one tap solution to archive everything.
Putting philosophies to one side and listening to feedback is revealing that lots of people like yourself want a one tap (or atleast not a several thousand tap solution) to saving their SMS from their iPhone which we think actually is a great idea. So the next version of the app will include a one tap archive everything button available from each contact. This requires some work not only on the application but also with our backend to support this. As a result you'll have to bear with us for a while to get this implemented, tested and reliable.
In the meantime iTextUploader should be able to do what you're looking for. Alternatively iTunes also does already automatically backups your SMS as well as all other data everytime you sync. If it's disaster recovery you need iTunes has you covered in the event of the worst happening.

Inappropriate? That's correct you save individual messages you want to keep, we don't do mass uploads at this time. For this you could try these guys http://youarchive.it/itextuploader.php

Inappropriate?i thought this could back up and archive your sms messages from my iphone but saving them ONE at a time is ludicrous.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? It looks like YouArchive.it only works with iPhones. Is there a way to do a total backup for those of us behind the times? I have an LG Chocolate.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Yes YouArchive.it is only an alternative to our iPhone app for the iPhone. I think the LG runs Verizons BREW platform. You could try a google for that.
-
Inappropriate?Treasuremytext is way better looking and offer much more options than Youarchive.it (folders, notes, contact details..).
If the Philosophy is to allow us to save the messages we care about, well, all the messages I exhange with my mum are dear to me, how about that? :)
it is really the only thing this service misses.. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the kind words, we appreciate it. We know the one by one archiving on the iPhone can be quite a PIA. This is high priority for the next iPhone app release. We'd love to give you a date for this but right now we don't have one. All we can do is ask you to hang in there till we get this of the list of todo's.
