Textstream privacy for existing saved messages?
I wanted to try out Textstream for the updating Twitter account feature. However when I activated Textstream, it seemed like all my existing saved messages showed up on my page. I would like to keep them private.
Has there been any progress on editing existing messages? I was thinking to prepend them with a # so they all remain private. I see the suggestion to 'just' delete them all and resave them but that seems a little high effort for the six pages I've got saved. Could I export and reimport all? Anything else?
Thanks for your time.

Inappropriate? The behaviour should be that only the new messages saved since turning on textstreams would be visible. After this privacy is determined by the # symbol. So it should be doing what you wanted but doesn't sound like it and will have to doublecheck.
Send me your username to support@treasuremytext and I can make private all your old messages private so they won't show even when textstream is on. -
Inappropriate?Hm, I doublechecked. Turned on Textstream. Went to my page. The existing ones still showed up. Logged out of Treasuremytext and restarted my browser (FF) and they were still showing up.
Will send you my username now. Thanks for your assistance!
I’m puzzled

Inappropriate? Some messages where public some private. We'll we hope to build these controls in so you're able to selectively deal with old ones in a better way.
In the meantime I've unpublished all your old messages, you should now have a clean empty TextStream. Thanks for hanging in there whilst we sorted this one out

Inappropriate?Thanks! I do.
I have another question related to Textstream. I got the text message from my phone to show up in my Twitter stream. Huzzah! Then, I deleted the message from my saved folder (for cleanup purposes) and expected the message to then be removed from my Textstream. However, it is not. Is it supposed to? Intuitively, I thought it should but perhaps this is a feature not a bug. -
Inappropriate? It also needs to be deleted from your trash folder to really go away. Go to trash and click the Empty Trash link.
