textstream rss problems
sorry to disturb.
It would seem that the rss feed of my text stream is full to the brim with my latest message.
a bug perhaps?
i believe my rss feed islocated here: http://www.treasuremytext.com/Apps/We... though I am slightly unclear what I should use in outward facing feed readers.

Huh? Did the problem with validation in Drupal go away? There was a missing author value which although not invalid might have caused problems. That's fixed and ATOM feed validator says we're now valid (the feeds are in the ATOM format).

A fix has just been deployed, RSS is back again. With some changes. First it's faster. Second we've removed for now all the individual feeds for Contacts and Folders from inside your accounts. We plan to replace this sometime soon with just one private feed of your own for all your own account messages which should be simpler to use.
TextStream RSS feeds are back again and as requested they get a nicer URL. Its now your TextStream address with /feed.xml at the end. Yours is available at http://www.treasuremytext.com/SMS/tdo... rolls of the tongue a little easier.

We're seeing a bit of traffic and an oversight in the way RSS feeds are handled is slowing everything else down. Because of these we've had to disable them for now, they should be back tomorrow though. Apologies for the mini outage.

So this is probably confusing but any folder or contact in your account has its own unique RSS feed. This is probably overkill and I'm not sure what you'd use all these feeds for but you never know. I think the one you posted is you're Inbox (you might want to edit your post) this you might use in your own news reader to print or something.
I think the one you're after is your public one which you can grab from your TextStream page's RSS icon at http://www.treasuremytext.com/SMS/tdo.... This one will only show the messages that you see there and can give out to external readers.
On a side issue, RSS feeds currently are incredibly slow to get, I'll be rolling out a fix as soon as to make them a bit snappier.

isn't terribly descriptive for me.
of course aesthetics are the last thing but a nice symlinking rule or what ever it actually is so http://www.treasuremytext.com/SMS/tdo... was my rss would be neat.
anyway. i look forward to hearing about this fix. or more accuratly, look forward to everything just working and me not having to worry.

I'm not toally sure I see the point in the private feeds at all but in general i think the more feeds the better!
