Using Treasuremytext to post status updates to your Wordpress blog...

Kerim Satirli at http://kerimsatirli.com/ just suggested a great idea for adding status updates to a Wordpress blog using Treasuremytext and the KB Advanced RSS Widget.

Why would you want to do this?
*Because sometimes a SMS is easier than writing a whole blog post!
*Because you want to update on the move!
*Because you’re a very very social person!

How else could you do this?
As Kerim points out people can also use Twitter or Pownce to do this but for some of us in Europe, sending an SMS to Treasuremytext’s Dutch or UK number is cheaper than texting other service (or potentially free depending on your network / plan). And also you get to keep all your favorite texts privately or publicly at Treasuremytext.

How it works
*Get a Treasuemytext account: http://www.treasuremytext.com/
*Download this great Wordpress plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/k...
*Upload to your Wordpress plugins directory
*Enable and configure
*Start texting your status!
