Why can't I change an unknown contact?
I dont seem able to change an unknown contact even when I click on the icon?

Yeah, we so need to sort this out as many people seem to not see that to set the contact you click on the + sign! Thanks for raising it. Think we might put a 'click to set contact' in there in the mean time!
Importing contacts is also something we're working on. Any preferences from online rather than phone related 'Contacts' apps. Are you a Plaxo user? http://www.plaxo.com/

Sorry there was a problem with this functionality and Internet Explorer, we've just uploaded a new version where this is fixed (tested in IE7, Firefox, Safari). You can change a contact by clicking on it's icon, when you've picked the contact wait a few moments for the icon to update it will do it after a couple of seconds, we're working on speeding this up.

Inappropriate?I might be doing something wrong here but I can't get this to work at all. I've just signed up and forwarded a text. The info says it's from an unknown contact. I added the name and phone number of the contact in your contact section.
However, this has no effect on the saved message, which is still from an 'unknown' contact. I've tried clicking in the box next to the message (where a photo might be) but I get the 'add' box and if I click on that nothing happens!
I'm using Firefox2.
This system is obviously in a very early stage but it does look good. I wish you the best of luck.

Inappropriate?I've cracked it - you click on the + sign rather than the box that says 'add'! A bit confusing I think. Perhaps in the future one could import all the contacts from the mobile rather than having to add each one manually (not very web 2.0 :)).

Inappropriate?Hi Katie, thanks for your reply. Yes I use Plaxo - that sounds like a good solution to the contacts issue. Synching with Plaxo would be fab!
