Why can't I type my contact's name in the SMS Compose dialogue box?

Ok, have written the SMS I want to send into the 'Compose SMS' dialogue box. In the 'to' field it says 'To: (Type Mobile Numbers or Contacts)'. So I typed the name of my contact. But when I pressed 'send' it came back with the message "A Message must have a Contact".

Duh. But I typed the contact's name exactly as it appears in my contact list. And anyway, I get the same message if I enter their phone number instead. I think this is another bug, maybe 'cos you fixed the other one a few minutes ago.

By the way, maybe better anyway if you could just pick your contact off a list as an alternative to typing their name, assuming you don't think of clicking the SMS link next to their name on yr home page rather than the 'Compose SMS' link in the first place... (not that that link is working at present anyway - same 'message must have a contact error as above).
