Previewing my blog on typepad prior to inserting code
You note that the widget can fragment my blog and therefore suggest previewing it first. I did so and saw the blog without any of the posts or sidebar photos- almost like a cover page. Is this what I should be seeing and go ahead and insert the widget, or does it mean I should cancel the insertion?

Ah, I was confused. You are referring to this warning that you get when you click the add to typepad button.
"Be safe! You shouldn't post content to your weblog from services you don't trust. Certain widgets may break the layout of your weblog; we recommend previewing your widget before adding it to your weblog. Note that we cannot provide support for third party widgets."
That is a warning that Typepad gives you that some widgets can mess up your blog. We have been testing Triggit on typepad blogs for six months, in fact my personal blog is on typepad (http://ads.typepad.com). Triggit works great on Typepad. When you see the preview with no posts that is what it is supposed to look like as a way to see how the widget will look. We have hundreds of publishers who use typepad and we have not had any problems so far.

Inappropriate? There is a warning near the "Preview" link which states that it is wise to preview your blog before inserting the widgit because the widgit may sometimes fragment the blog. As indicated, when I clicked "preview", I saw the template with my headlines and photo, but none of the posts. There is no way I'm going to insert your widgit until I'm certain that it won't disrupt/distort my blog. I strongly suggest that you create a test blog on Typepad similar to mine, insert half a dozen posts, a few photos , a video and a photo gallery, and then go through the Triggit insert steps. See what the preview looks like, insert the widgit and then instruct me accordingly.
