How does revenue work?
How can 1 cent represent 50% of revenue generated. Also I had an article published titled "20 things you may not know about cats with over 100 readers. When I sent an article telling the same about dog you rejected it.

Your earnings are 50% of the total revenue generated by the advertisements placed on your articles' pages. So, the more page views your content receives, the more earnings you generate. Keep checking your Triond account and you'll see your page views and earnings grow.

Inappropriate?I am frustrated because I just had an article declined because Triond says it doesn't rely on advertising, just page views for revenue. Obviously, that isn't true. I just may be taking my articles and moving on. Hopefully Triond respects copyright law. Once I delete my articles, I;m trusting that they will not be using them for their benefit.

Inappropriate?I have not been paid any revenue, whatever was generated by the Triond website since posting 3 of my poems since last year 2008. I would like to know when and how you decide to pay for the articles that you have published, and i have not been paid for?

You have to keep in mind that in order to generate revenue for any blog/article on the internet, the advertising on the site will have to be something that someone wants to see. Your poetry will not generate a lot of impressions/clicks.
I have posted my poetry on my own blogs before; however, they don't generate revenue. Normally, I post for the satisfaction of me posting and getting comments; however, when I post about other topics (i.e. Entertainment, Politics, etc.). The revenue and impressions/clicks stream in. -
Inappropriate?Triond pays users once you gain the minimum amount (i believe it is 10 dollars)
To earn that money and to earn more revenue faster, it is highly suggested that you write unique content articles and multiple ones.
I am a Triond user and i generate plenty of income. My profile is: https://www.triond.com/users/Ebey+soman
There are people that make more money than me and are dedicated writers. Bo Jack Russo makes numerous articles per day and his payouts are ridiculously high. Check out his profile at: https://www.triond.com/users/Bo+Jack+...
So the key to making money at Triond or at any online writing website is to write unique articles - not just one or two but multiple ones.
I am a writer at numerous websites and i highly recommend Triond and Bukisa as my best websites. Helium is not good for a person looking to earn cash but is best for person looking to get published.

Inappropriate?A good reference to answer your question (the original question) is to refer to this article by my friend: http://writinghood.com/online-writing...
If you read his article it will help you gain a meaningful insight into Triond earnings system.
But on average you earn:
* $1.00 per 1,000 views
* $0.10 per 100 views
* $0.01 per 10 views
Estimated Calculations Based on Average eCPM Payout
* 1 of your articles gets 10 views = $0.01 per month
* 10 of your articles get 10 views each = $0.10 per month
* 100 of your articles get 10 views each = $1.00 per month
* 1,000 of your articles get 10 views each = $10.00 per month
* 10,000 of your articles get 10 views each = $100.00 per month
Understnad now? If not then read the article at: http://writinghood.com/online-writing...
