How to move trip items

We're working on making it more clear in TripIt how you can move trip items around, but until then, here's some guidance.

To attach something in your Unfiled Items to a trip...
Go to your My Plans page and mouse over the "attach to" dropdown under the item you wish to move. Then select the trip where you'd like the item to go, and you're done.

To move an item from one trip to another...
When you are viewing your itinerary, just click the "edit" link in the upper right corner of the item you wish to move. On the next page, find the "related trip" dropdown and select the name of the trip you'd like to move this item into. Once you've selected the new trip, click the submit button on the page and the item will be moved.

To move an item to a different day or time within a trip...
Click the "edit" link in the upper right corner of the item you'd like to reschedule. On the next page, you can change either the date or the time associated with the trip item. Then click submit and you're done. TripIt will eventually support drag-and-drop to make moving items within trips a little easier.
