It should be possible to delete or disassociate one half on a round-trip airline itinerary
It should be possible to delete or disassociate one half on a round-trip airline itinerary. There are two use cases here that currently don't work well in tripit:
1. I change the return trip of my itinerary after I have already flown the outgoing segment. The airline (or at least Southwest) reissues an itinerary for only the second half of the trip. I am stuck either deleting the original full trip (and losing the outgoing flight) or having a double booking for the return flight in tripit (the original and the changed).
2. I booked overlapping round-trips and I want to separate the trips, or I booked a round trip that I am changing and using for two different trips.

Inappropriate? Thanks, Ethan. Handling itinerary updates, duplicates and cancellations is definitely on our radar. I'll be sure to pass along your feedback. With respect to separating segments of a round trip ticket, the only thing I can suggest is copying the entire flight reservation to a new trip first. You can then remove the segments from the respective trips using "Options/Edit" on the flight objects from the main itinerary page and then 'Remove' on the individual segment. Hope this helps somewhat.
