Tripit Widget doesn't work on my blog?
I just copied and pasted the code into my wordpress blog, and its not working.
I promised Scott Hintz i'd put it up as soon as you released it, when I met him at TC50, but its not showing up, right below my Dopplr widget:
www.lifeinlists.com
Maybe I"m doing something wrong?

Inappropriate?Sorry to hear that. Is it possible that you didn't hit "save" when you enabled your blog badge? You can verify that your blog badge is on from your publishing options page, http://www.tripit.com/account/edit/se...
If that's not the issue, I'm happy to investigate. You can email me at support@tripit.com. Thanks.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hi Tripit Team,
I have this problem too. It seems ALL 4,650,868 hosted Wordpress blogs will have this problem since wordpress does not allow java script on its hosted blogs. I tried it on mine today and it also failed. Please create a html widget. BTW. I love your service and your customer support!!
-
Inappropriate? You're correct, Andre. Wordpress is the issue. I'll be sure to make a note of your request. Thanks for the kind words about our service and support. Always nice to hear.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Got it working, but now for one of my trips its displaying the lay-over as the destination, rather than the final destination!
Thanks!
I’m undecided
-
Inappropriate?Kristin,
Are there any news about an upcoming badge which is not using Java Script? I just checked and according to Wikipedia wordpress.com hosted 4.5 million individual blogs as of November 7, 2008 so they are NOT insignificant
I’m hoping

Inappropriate? Thanks for checking in, Andre. A WordPress compatible badge is on our radar but no timing set yet. I'll be sure pass along your feedback.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? The badge works fine on my wordpress blog, its the location thats messed up. www.evbart.com is the blog and you can see it has me going to paris, france (which is the layover) not to venice, italy
-
Inappropriate? Are you using wordpress.com or hosting via your own WordPress installation?
-
Inappropriate?me? im on my own wordpress installation. so that may be why its working fine.
-
Inappropriate? Thanks, evbart. That would explain it.
-
Inappropriate?evbart,
I meant to mention that if a layover is more than 4 hours TripIt considers this your primary destination. You can easily change your trip destination via "Edit Trip Details" from your itinerary page. It may take approximately 15 minutes before you see the updated destination in your badge.
