4.8 upgrade hiccup
In step 4 of the 4.8 Upgrade Guide, it mentions "The driver installation will now begin. Please continue the installation by following the instructions in the installer. This process may take up to 5 minutes, and it may appear that the computer has stopped responding. This is normal, and the process should not be interrupted."
My question is, suppose the computer has stopped responding for, say, 1 1/2 hours? Should I give up then and try a hard reboot? I have no control - mouse, keyboard or otherwise - and am anxious to get finished with this process.
