Adding Video to Bulletin Creates Static and Video Noise
Whenever I add a video box to a bulletin right at the moment the video is about to start playing I get a static or crackling noise and the lower portion of the screen breaks up into white lines for a couple of seconds. The video ends without this issue, though.
Anybody have this problem? I'm reluctant to use video in the bulletin board which is too bad since I'd like to utilize it more.

Inappropriate?Hey Paul,
Hmm, I've never seen this before. Is the static/noise happening just in the video block itself, or is it affecting the entire Carousel output?
Does it happen with just one video file, or does it happen on everything you upload?
If it doesn't happen on every uploaded video file, I'd recommend sending us a copy of one of the "broken" video files so we can test it out in-house. Our support team at support@trms.com can help with that process, feel free to shoot them an email so we can get a copy.

I’m puzzled.

Inappropriate?Hi John,
It's happening within the whole Carousel output. The video block is fine. It's happened to every video I've ever tried.

Inappropriate?Paul, are you running Carousel through a modulator? I would see if it appears fine on the VGA output of the Carousel player, but static on your channel, then it is a levels problem with the modulator. You could also try adjusting Carousel's video output level in the nVidia control panel.

Ooh, this is a good suggestion! Thanks JJ. -
Inappropriate?Ok, I'll give that a shot. Thanks!
The Carousel is running through a router and then to the mod. -
Inappropriate?Ok so checking the output of the carousel there is no static but the white line are still there on the start of the video. So the modulator is the cause of the noise since the white lines are pushing it.
