Release Notes - Cablecast v4.6.5

Bug - 2843: Facil Import does not set format of shows, causes other problems
the FACIL import extra will now let the user select the format of imported shows.

Bug - 2973: X-List creates entries for shows that are too short, and ignores CGExempt status
X-List doesn't accept shows under 5 minutes in length, so we now remove those shows from the X-List report. We also remove any shows that are CG-Exempt from the report.

Bug - 3021: Can't change locations in Safari
Fixed a bug which caused constant refreshing in the web browser while using Safari when changing locations.

Release Notes - Cablecast v4.7.5
(Additionally contains all fixes from 4.6.5)

New - 2984: SX Playback debug output is more verbose
The SXPlayer application's debug output is now more verbose.

Bug - 2985: Null frame in an AVI can crash SXPlayer
Null Frames in an AVI file will no longer crash the SX Player Application.

Bug - 2990: Installer overwrites various configuration files
The installer will now keep modified configuration files on the disk, so you no longer have to re-edit .config files after each update.

Bug - 2993: Re-installing Cablecast can cause VSX Notification error message
The installer would sometimes throw a VSX error message when re-installing the same version of Cablecast.

Bug - 3014: Fix for crash in SX Player with weird audio
Changed so that the SX Player will now log missing audio samples instead of failing to play.

Bug - 2970: Field inversion issue can occur again after a reinstall of drivers on SX servers
SX Configuration app now sets data in registry to prevent the field inversion issue at startup.

Bug - 2976: Rare circumstances may cause the SX not to play back shows
Under heavy load the SX should no longer fail to play shows.

Bug - 2981: Installer doesn't create transcoding profiles directory
The windows media encoder profiles directory is once again installed on VOD servers.

Bug - 2982: Installer does not kill the SX Configuration app
When upgrading Cablecast, the SX configuration app was never reset, so you wouldn't see any changes until the machine was restarted. The app is now reset immediately after the update is complete.

Bug - 2983: SX calculates incorrect frame count for some rare files
The length of files with progressive video and mono audio will now be correctly calculated.

Bug - 3037: Cablecast Service does an unneeded DNS lookup call
Fixed issue which could prevent VOD from working when the DNS server isn't configured properly. This is fixed by no longer doing the DNS lookup which was unnecessary when an IP was specified.

Bug - 3022: Force menu status can freeze if SX drops frames on encodes
A chunk of invalid XML was being sent back to the force menu, which caused the status to stop updating. The XML is now properly formed, so the status will continue to operate.
