Announcing Cablecast 4.7.2
Tightrope Media Systems is pleased to announce the release of Cablecast 4.7.2. This update includes several bug fixes that improve the stability and reliability of video server operations, and therefore is a must-have for anyone who owns a [url="http://www.trms.com/broadcast"]Cablecast SX[/url] series video server.

New - 2844: Link Electronics AVS-816CM
the LinkAVSCM is now available for routing switcher control.
New - 2854: DSK support for Compix G3 hardware
DSK now supports the new generation of hardware from Compix.
Bug - 2710: SX servers abort records when video signal is lost
The SX encoder will now drop frames if its signal is interrupted.
Bug - 2761: SX playback has error with some files that need scaling
Resolved an issue that prevented the SX from playing some files that it is capable of playing.
Bug - 2800: SX Encoder CM does not support MoveFile
The SXEncoder Control module now supports Moving files after an encode has completed.
Bug - 2856: SX Playback skips several frames when a record stops
The SX will no longer drop frames on playback when a record stops.
Bug - 2868: SX occasionally delays playback by 2-3 seconds
Under certain circumstances, the SX would play shows 2-3 seconds late. This has been resolved.
Bug - 2836: Digital File Managemnt does not correctly calculate record time for SX
Digital File Management will now correctly calculate the time remaining on disk.
Bug - 2838: Crawls in the manual schedule can't be longer than 28 hours
Resolved an issue that was preventing the user from creating long manual crawls.
Bug - 2839: Autopilot creates a conflict when there should not be one
Resolved an issue that was causing problems with back-to-back playback from some devices.
Bug - 2803: SX Player application crashes when playing unsupported video
The SX Player handles unsupported video more gracefully.
