Announcing Carousel 5.1.5

In this release of Carousel you will acquire usability improvements in media
management, template editing, and housekeeping among others. The scalability of the
changes made in template editing will enhance your bulletin creation.

Bug 3201: Waiting bulletin notifications don't include the zone the bulletin is on
The email message sent out to notify administrators about waiting bulletins now includes the name of the zone the bulletin is on.

Bug 3378: Carousel shouldn't auto-select all zones when adding or deleting media
Carousel no longer assumes that you want to delete media from all zones.

Bug 3072: Find what zone and allow deletion of corrupt bulletins from database
Enhanced the tool for finding corrupt bulletins to make it easier to find and delete corrupt bulletins.

Bug 3379: Template editor copies currently selected picture when switching between picture blocks
In some cases, the selected picture was being copied erroneously in the template editor.

Bug 3240: Haupauge HVR950q does not work with Carousel
Added support for HVR950.

Bug 3316: TV Input stops functioning after a period of time
The DisplayEngine now cleanly exits while displaying a LiveVideo bulletin which alleviates an issue where it would stop displaying video after a number of times.

Bug 3295: Zone selection truncated and not able to scroll
The zone selector for selecting multiple zones has been tweaked to appear better in Internet Explorer 6.

Bug 3372: EDS not displaying events beyond X days
EDS now fetches schedule data for more than 15 days out.

Bug 3427: Some templates won't resize even when forced in the zone config
An issue was fixed where templates that included a very short (or very tall) block were not resizing when resized in the zone configuration screen.

Bug 3362: Media isn't resized when copied to a different zone
Copying and moving media (backgrounds and templates) and bulletins to a new zone will now scale them to the new zone's dimensions.

Bug 3384: Uploading pictures to new bulletin causes other picture blocks to change
Fixed caching issue in Safari which caused the popup menu for selecting a picture to select the incorrect item.

Bug 3395: PNG images lose transparency when resized
Fixed issue where resizing picture media with transparency would have their thumbnails generated on a black background instead of the checkerboard background.

Bug 3396: Safari still shows Config instead of ZoneSelector
Fixed caching issue in Safari which was causing the popup window for selecting a zone to sometimes show the configuration popup window.

Bug 3430: When resizing templates some text blocks would default to 6pt
An issue has been fixed where, in some cases when resizing templates the font size would default to 6pt.

Bug 3407: Pictures look distorted when scaled
Picture and WebPicture blocks now scale with a much higher quality.

Bug 3222: Carousel 5.2 housekeeping does not clear out active bulletins that are waiting for start times
Housekeeping now removes bulletins that are waiting for start times.
