Background Music While Playing Video
Just started playing videos on Carousel, which looks really cool and is a good way to play PSAs. When I first loaded the .avi file, the background audio would fade out nicely so the audio from the PSA would play, then the background audio would fade back up. Great!
Now the background audio doesn't fade out anymore, making it nearly impossible to hear the PSA's audio. If I stop Carousel and start it up again, things will work fine for a while, but then the same problem surfaces again.
Seems like someone else reported this problem before and I wonder if anyone has a solution. Thanks.

Inappropriate?Which version of Carousel are you running? You're describing a problem that we've seen before, and I think a recent update may have addressed it. I'll ask around and see if it was fixed, and in what version.

In the 4.5.0 release, we completely re-wrote the DisplayEngine, paying close attention to background audio. So, although we didn't specifically address the issue you mentioned, the audio processing is much more robust.
I'd give our tech-support team a call and upgrade to 4.5.0. That should hopefully take care of it. If not, let us know and we'll investigate further.
