Cable Display Bulletin not showing 3 records.
Hello,
I have a cable display bulletin set to display 3 show records, but it only shows one and makes a new slide for each one. The settings are the same as they have always been, all I did was add a static text block with our website.

Inappropriate?Hi Tim,
This might sound strange, but try naming the new block to contain the word "Footer", such as "WebsiteFooter"
There's a small trick in how CableDisplay lays out the repeated blocks... Right now, I think it's trying to copy the whole collection of Time, CGTitle, and website blocks over and over, which, as currently laid out, can't all fit on one page.
By renaming the website block to "Footer" (or, as long as it contains the word "footer"), it will not include that block in the set of blocks to be repeated.
Give that a try and let me know if it works or not.

I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Hi John,
I did what you said and renamed the block to footer and I am still having hte same issue. -
Inappropriate?Hi Tim,
Sorry, I dropped the ball on this question. I'm not really sure what is going on if it's not the "Footer" thing I suggested earlier... I'm going to ask our CableDisplay expert to chime in and see what he thinks. Unfortunately, he's out of the office today, so I'm not sure if he'll see it today, but I'll do my best to get an answer.
Thanks Tim, again, apologies for the delay.

Inappropriate?Tim, John,
CableDisplay will view that 'footer' text block as part of the set of blocks that it needs to repeat. So it will think that only 1 'block set' will fit per page.

Since CableDisplay is older code. It does not use the cool new stuff that EDS or RSS bulletins use for determining blocks that are named with 'footer' or 'header' in them. Without this special treatment, CableDisplay assumes that all the blocks on the page are part of 1 show record. So when it goes to add the next show, it doesn't fit and puts it onto the next page.
I think your best bet is to put that web site text into the background.
CableDisplay is due for a re-write one of these days so we can leverage our newer rendering code.
