Carousel Channel
Under the configuration button (upper right corner), click on "Players", then "Player Status". It lists all of the information correctly, however under "Channel" they are all titled the same. Each of my four players control a different TV channel on our cable system. What does this "Channel" listing under the status mean? Does this go along with my channels on Cablecast? Or is the name of the carousel "channel"? How do I change this?

Inappropriate?Hey Jon,
The channels in the player status screen correspond to the Carousel channels, not the Cablecast channels... In other words, it's reporting what channel in Carousel that the DisplayEngine is currently running.
Do you have a single Carousel channel that all your DisplayEngines are tuned to (i.e., all your DisplayEngines are showing the same set of content)? That would result in the behavior you're seeing.

Inappropriate?John,
Thanks for your help, I went down to look at what channel each display channel was pointing at. I just shutdown the display then double clicked the player icon and hit configure as it was counting down, they were all pointing at the same channel so I switched each to their respective channel.
On a side note, I noticed one of my CG250s has the display settings (got there by clicking start on Windows XP, Settings, Control Panel, Display, then settings tab) and one is set to less screen resolution and the other three to most screen resolution. What is your recommendation for what I should have it set at?
Thanks for your help,

Inappropriate?Hi Jon,
I'm glad it's working now! :)
As far as screen resolutions go... it sorta depends on what your output is. I'm assuming your Carousel channels are being broadcast on a cable channel? In that case 800x600 is a fine resolution. Ideally, the resolution if the display will match the resolution of the Carousel channel itself. Then you won't get any "stretching" when the DisplayEngine runs.
So, for example, if your Carousel channel is set to 800x600 then your CG250's monitor resolution should be 800x600 as well. If the Carousel channel is set to be 1920x1080 (for output on large LCD/Plasma displays), then the monitor resolution of the player should be the same.
