Carousel Monitor Control Schedule
I would like more options for turning monitors on and off using the Carousel Monitor Control Schedule... Now I only have weekly controls, but it would be nice if I could have monthly controls that would allow me to turn the monitors off on Holidays... something that could be programmed for six months or a year in advance. Sustainability is an important topic right now and we don't want our signs playing to no one.

Inappropriate?We are looking at the same issues for a project we are working on. We need to also provide greener solutions for LEED projects and customers. Another good option would be the ability to use occupancy sensors to switch the displays off/put the players in standby. We are currently looking at controlling the monitor power through integration with existing Crestron controls.1 Comment

Inappropriate?Hi Carousel folks, Just wondering what is happening with this. We just had someone call us and ask us to change there sign hours to reflect their new hours of operation and we can't because there is not enough control—Their Saturday and Sunday hours are different, but the controls don't allow users to fine tune.
This seems like an easy quick fix. Plus it's a big selling point—it means users can be more green by assuring the signs are off when no one is around.
