Changing Carousel Background Music
I have a playlist I would like to use to replace the current background music on my Carousel 5.1.3 program. I thought I'd find a tutorial on this somewhere but it seems to be eluding me. Is it best to install the files by uploading them to the program? Of can they be played on a CD? What is the best way to go about this? Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hi islek,
You will want to upload your audio files (mp3 or wav) into the Carousel web software.
The process is described toward the end of section 5.0.4 in the Carousel 5.1.3 manual. Look for the "Background Audio Form" section starting on page 50.
You can find the manual on our documentation site:
http://www.trms.com/community/documen...
For what it's worth, Carousel 5.2 added a couple nice features for background audio lists. In 5.2, you can upload multiple audio files at once if they're combined into a .zip file, and you can also choose to randomize the playback order. (Upgrading from 5.1 to 5.2 requires a current System Assurance contract.)
I hope this helps!

Inappropriate? We use Vermont Public Radio for our background music. When we moved to our new location, we lost the signal over the air. Right now we have a dedicated computer playing out the live stream off vpr.net. Is there a way to have carousel use this " http://www.vpr.net/vpr_files/stream_p..." live stream as the background music, other than just opening a player in windows and then launching carousel display engine.
Thanks
I’m anxious
