crawls
Sorry, Crawl Girl again. So I've created my Crawl Zone and created two crawls, a weather crawl and a message crawl. However, it is not coming out over the bulletin board. I've shut down the CG250 and rebooted, but still no crawl zone. I thought I followed all the directions in the manual, but I got nothing. I'm using carousel 5.1.0 build 70. Any tricks to get it started?

Inappropriate?Have you made sure your channel subscribes to that crawl zone?
Go into Carousel Configuration -> Channel Configuration -> Your Carousel Channel -> Channel Setup
The second drop down box is for choosing a crawl zone to add to that channel. -

From the message it looks like something is not able to connect to your server. Perhaps a configuration issue.
One thing to check is that all your machines have the same IP address that they do in your setup.
For example if your machines obtains their address through DHCP, and they had to restart and received different IP address everything would get screwy.
This is just a guess though, best to talk to support.

It would be best if you gave support a call. However I do have a few suggestions. You will need to stop the display engine (double click the mouse, hit the esc key). Next you will want to relaunch Carousel (double click on the orange Carousel icon on the desktop) and hit the configure button. Make sure you have the 'Graphics Manager' set to 'Standard'. Click 'Ok' and let Carousel load.
Might be a long shot but it is worth a try.

Second, I did what Grayson said, my bulletin board was running in simple. I changed it to standard and it won't work at all. It says it connects ok, then it says "Waiting for sub-system display" Then everything disappears and I am left with the desktop. I do have a call into support.
