Displaying Upcoming Events from iCal
We have several iCal feeds that have event information. Rather than having a bulletin that says "No Events Scheduled for Today", is it possible to display the next two or three events that will occur? Think of meetings that are scheduled several weeks in advance ... we would like to have a bulletin that shows the next two or three meetings from the iCal feed, whether or not they are occurring today.
It would also be useful to have a mapping of iCal fields to Carousel fields. There are several items here in the forum that describe the various fields, but no single source for this information.

It is possible to display iCal events that are scheduled out as far as 99 days into the future. The schedule display settings are found in the Event Schedule:Bulletin properties, as laid out in the screen shot below.
I agree that the mapping of iCal fields to Carousel fields should be added to our Carousel Manual as a single source of information. We will add this information to the Carousel Manual, but if in the meantime you have any specific questions, please post your questions here and we will do our best to get them answered.

Inappropriate?OK ... I have set the number of days properly. Now the second part of the question is: How can I avoid having a new bulletin for each day? Right now, three meetings are scheduled on three days in the future ... this produces three bulletins. -
Inappropriate?Paul, that is how EDS works. It always does a page break on a new day.
