Inappropriate?Hi James,
I saw your note to support and forwarded it to the developer in charge of the import tool. I'm hoping to have an answer early next week at the latest!

Inappropriate?Too many secrets == failed to decrypt this DVD because the disc region and the drive region are incompatible

Inappropriate?I also got this error. I get it on both DVD Shrink and on ImgBurn. I've read it has to do with the number of encrypted files on your computer. But, beyond that, I can't find anything. A lot of ignorant people say "oh, it's a virus." That's why they are ignorant. It's not. But, what I can't seem to find is how to clear the problem.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Which version of DVD import are you using?
-
Inappropriate? It's possible the DVD drive doesn't have its region set, try playing a DVD in software for playing DVDs such as PowerDVD and confirm it can be played. Player software like that should prompt you to initialize the drive if it hasn't had its region set already.

Inappropriate? Also nice thoughts, but no, it's unrelated to the DVD hardware or DVD (or any other) software. The error is SPECIFICALLY LISTED by Microsoft as being caused by exceeding the 4096 encrypted file limit imposed by the government. So, somewhere, there are encrypted files, just sitting, causing this error to pop up.
