editing a stock template
I thought this would have been fixed in 5.2. If I go into Edit Template and add a new text box I can add text just fine and it shows up in the preview as long as I'm in the Edit Template window. However, when I click OK and go back to the original edit page all changes have disappeared and are unrecoverable when I go back to the Edit Template screen. I've wasted hours on this bug and am very surprised it hasn't been fixed - or is it me?

I think you are going about this in the wrong manor. The Template Editor is used to create/define your blocks and adjust text color, font, size ect ect. Entering text is done during the bulletin creation process (see screen shot).

Inappropriate?Got it. I just found out what the Edit Field box does. Small (default) does not allow you to add lines of text on the text creation page. That's why I was adding it on the Edit Template page. However, the "large" edit field selection does allow line additions. -
Inappropriate?Ah, that makes sense. I can see how this is a bit confusing. It sounds like you have the correct understanding of how the Template Editor works. You should also know that we have a good training video on the template editor <http://www.trms.com/community/trainin...>.
