Error trying to create Dynamic Weather, RSS, or Event Bulletins.

My Carousel system is giving me errors when ever I try to add dynamic content. Either, Weather, RSS, or Event Schedule bullitin. Each of them load the first setup page, then when I continue it give me the following on all these bullitins:
ErrorBug status error: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Type: System.NullReferenceException

And then the Thrown at and Stack trace is specific to the bullitin type:
ie weather- Thrown at: ASP.create_weather_aspx - Page_Load
Stack Trace: at TRMS.Web.Carousel.Create_Weather.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in d:\src\carousel\Web\Carousel\Create.Weather.aspx.cs:line 127

This only happens when I am trying using Zones that I have created from scratch. they are working fine when I do the DEMO zones that came preloaded with my demo system. I can create standard bulletins fine in the zones ect.
