Expandability?
Hi, My name is Joe, and I am from OBTV 14 in Old Bridge NJ. We are considering expanding our Cablecast system to play video from a hard drive, we are currently using at SONY DVD changer.
I have 2 questions.
1.) What is the disk capacity of our existing system? (I am not at the studio, so I can't check) and
2.) Can I expand the capacity by adding additional disk drives, if so, how many?
Thanks.

Inappropriate?Simply adding a hard drive to your cablecast machine does not make it a video server...(I am assuming you have one of the cablecast servers or a bundle, not one of the newer standalone cablecast and video server bundles)
That said you can purchase a Cablecast video server and they generally come with at least several hundred gigabytes or content storage. Depending on the file formats you wish to play (mpeg-2 is the standard) You can get hundreds of hours of video of even the cheapest available video servers)
