Frozen Ticker/Crawl

We are running a crawl with news headlines from our area and it freezes as the very end appears on screen. Several seconds later, the ticker starts over and it will freeze at the end again.

Are there some fonts/colors that will trigger this occurance? It worked fine until we made the customizations of a yellow font and Impact size 30 type.
