Inappropriate?dylibrary,
Does Cablecast currently control these DVD players through RS232/IR? If so we can set the end action for each device in Cablecast. For DVD players that setting should be 'Stop'. This setting is covered in the Cablecast manual which you can download from our website <http://www.trms.com.s3.amazonaws.com/...> Look at section 5.5 or p78.

Inappropriate?A common function for DVD players is to regard a single STOP command as an instruction to go into the RESUME mode: to "cue" the DVD to start from the point it was last stopped. However, a SECOND STOP command clears this. Try having Cablecast send two STOP commands.

Inappropriate?how would you send the 2nd stop command..i have the same problem--Cablecast Controller with Leithronix Pro-8, with 2 newly added Panasonic DVD players with IR, 1 sony DVD with IR.

Actually, I'm not sure how to send a second stop command. TRMS staff, any recommendations?
Another approach: Try not sending ANY stop command at all! In theory, the DVD player will play to its end, and reset itself. -
Inappropriate?ill be over dylibrary!!
-
Inappropriate?L, are you controlling the Panasonic DVD players with the Leightronix? Or a TRMS IR4 box?
-
We are using both the Leightronix and (yellow) TRMS box (IR4?). How can we tell which one is controlling DVD players?
