Help me mpegStreamclip users! You're my only hope!
So I downloaded mpegStreamclip and the accompanying wannabe quicktime files. The problem is mpegStreamclip will not recognize the .avi files I recorded on my SX2 from a live input. That means I can't trim the video. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Inappropriate?Jeff, when the SX records to a .avi it's either a MPEG2-I Frame, or DV CODEC. I'm sure mpegstreamclip can't edit either. If you can, set your encoding bitrate down, then the SX will encode a .mpg that will likely be editable.

Inappropriate?Thanks. Any ideas/suggestions as to what encode rate I should use on the SX? It appears to be set at 25 mbps right now. -
Inappropriate?Yea, basically anything under 25Mb will be a regular MPEG2 file.
