How to get an "alert" bulletin to play before and after a program?
OK here is a more specific question than the last one I asked: How do I get an alert bulletin such as the schedule of upcoming programs during the rest of the day to come up before or after a program plays. This is why I asked about "Interstitials" in m previous question. Does an interstitial length need to be programmed in for this to happen. At one point we had set our interstitials to "0" but the "this program will be replayed at..." still came up.

Inappropriate? My understanding is that only the "coming up next" and the "see it again slides can be forced immediately before and after a show airs. That said, I know people who are using the coming up slide to put up a disclaimer before each show so there are a lot of options for customizing the slide beyond the canned coming up slide. You will need an interstitial time of at least 15 seconds. If you don't create a "see it again" slide then only the coming up slide will display - but I think you wind up seeing the regular carousel where the see it again slide would be.
If you want a schedule page, you can easily create one but it will play in the regular carousel loop and not as an alert before/after shows. You do not need an interstitial time for regular schedule bulletins. -
Inappropriate?Another note... That the Up Next and Repeat graphics are a feature of Carousel and are not tied to Cablecast's interstitial length setting. So to make Carousel do the graphics you need to make CableDisplay bulletins in Caorusel.
To make sure you have enough time to air those graphics, you need to make room in your schedule in Cablecast. Interstitial just forces gaps between your shows in the schedule.
