Line Input continues after selecting Background Audio List
We hear both the line input and the background audio list when I select the radio button for the list. Need to be able to switch back and forth remotely, though have fixed the problem temporarily by disconnecting the line in. Rebooting didn't help.

Hmm... That doesn't sound right at all. I'll see if we can recreate the behavior in-house.
What version of Carousel are you running at the moment? The latest version is 5.2.6. Also, what Carousel hardware are you using? A CG-250?

I did some investigating, and I think this is a legitimate bug in the software.
The common case is that people select either Line-In or List for background audio, and don't switch between the two. In other words, people who use the List mode never have anything plugged into the line-input, so they never hear both at once.
We seem to have overlooked the case where you'd want to switch back and forth between the two, so we're never actually muting the line-input when you're in List mode. The only time the line-in is muted is when a video or audio file is playing. We need to modify the display engine to also mute whenever you're in List mode.
I've created a new bug case for this issue, BugzID: 4092. We'll update this topic as we make progress on it.
