previewing rss formatting
I am working of formatting RSS feeds from our internal calendar. My information seems to be coming up correctly but when I edit the template in the template editor, the change does not seem to appear in my channel preview or even in the zone preview. Thinking I forgot to save, I went back into edit the bulletin and and it IS the way I want it in the template. I refresh my channel preview--it still looks the old way. I preview the zone, it also is the old way (meaning not the way that it is set up in the template.)
Additionally, as soon as I edited the template, it seemed to stop limiting the number of items (at least in the preview). I am in test mode, so I can't see what it would do on an actual screen. The spacing is not in the data. I had just change the template from 128 pxls left to 60.. and there was no change in the preview.
Is there some sort of delay with RSS templates? How can I get around the delay? It's difficult for me to set this up without being able to make adjustments.
I am attaching an image of my template settings and then what it still looks like on the previews.

As you can see, the two lines should be right under each other now.

I am under a time crunch--Please help!

I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with the RSS template not updating. Unfortunately, that scenario is a known bug and the solution will be released in the next version of Carousel. In the meantime, a workaround would be to change the URL (different, yet valid) and save the bulletin. Then go in and change the URL back to the desired feed. This situation forces an update.
I apologize for the inconvenience and I will update this thread when we release the next version of Carousel.
