Replacing a show in the schedule
We air many series shows, some of which change every other week, and some which change every month. What I would like to know is if there is a way to change every occurance of a show in the future schedule to a different number. For example, if I have scheduled through the end of March, and two weeks into the month I need to change show number123 to the newest episode show number125, is there a way to just have Cablecast look for all of show number123 in the schedule and change them to show number125? Is there a replace or find function? Thanks.

Inappropriate?Cablecast currently does not have the ability to find/replace select occurances of a show in the schedule.
It's a pretty interesting idea though, and we'll look into it.
Does anyone else have a similar situation? Have any tips/tricks to get around it?

Inappropriate?This is a challenge for our station too. I'm airing college telecourses, and if there were a spreadsheet view of the schedule for cablecast, it would make it much easier to change programming. -
Inappropriate?For all of our regular series programs we just re-encode to the same program number so we don't have to change the entire schedule. The downside of course is there is no accurate report of each show, but it still works for us.
