Inappropriate?Hi Robert. :)
By default, new text boxes are created with the "Auto Size" option enabled. This shrinks (or enlarges) the text to fit as best as it can within the text box.
If you want to lock a text box down to a specific size, you'll just need to disable the Auto Size option on that block from within the template editor.
Does this help?

I’m happy

Inappropriate?Ah, I get it now. It looks to me like the font size is actually staying the same, but it's stripping the newline characters, which is removing some of the height.
This is definitely not the right behavior, and it's triggering something in my brain... Let me do some research on this to see if we have a solution already.
Thanks for your patience...

Inappropriate?Er... One thing I forgot to ask... What version of Carousel do you have installed? (Instructions for finding the version are here: http://gsfn.us/t/lpf )

Inappropriate?Hi.. Release Version: 5.2.6 Build 36

Inappropriate?Hi Robert,
Looking back, it seems that someone else had a similar issue to what you're describing: http://gsfn.us/t/34fj
The suggestion there was to turn on the "Wrap Text" option for the text blocks in question.
Does that work?
-John
I’m hopeful...

John.. any luck on this situation I just spent a half hour making a nice bulletin, only to have the text resize on me

@Robert, hmm, no news just yet, but it does seem that someone else is having a similar issue. We'll do our best to track it down and see what's up. --John -
We are having the same issue. Looks good until you get the last page to save it and the returns are gone. Changing "Wrap Text" doesn't help this situation.

Hi Tim I tried that also, got the same results.. Bob -
Hi John.. Tim sent me in the right direction I just changed the "Edit field" to "Text Area" all is well -
Inappropriate?Wrap Text is on.. I toggled it on and off just to be sure but still no help.. the bulletin appears to be fine in the little preview window until I hit the Calendar page to specify times and dates , at that point is where it re-sizes... By the way can you be around chat or phone??, I have an additional question about the CMS Module for the Integra Multi Disc DVD players
