RSS crawl background should disappear when the RSS feed contains no data.
We use the RSS crawl feature of Carousel to display emergency messages that are pulled from an RSS feed from our web site. Currently, if there is no message in the feed, the RSS crawl displays no text, but the background remains on the screen. It would be great if, when there is no data in an RSS crawl, that the background could just disappear. That way we can leave the RSS crawl scheduled all the time and the messages (including the background) would appear only when there is data in the RSS feed).

Inappropriate?I agree, this is a really good idea. We'll put it on the list for a future release.
Thank you!

Thanks John,
Now that I think of it, all you would need to do is just have the RSS crawl become "queued" when there is no data and become "active" when there is.

I agree... That's probably the approach we'll take. Thanks! --John
