Sigma router intermittently not getting switch command - device input designations

We have been experiencing a problem with the Cablecast not making at least one switch in a 24 hour period. We have been working with Grayson on this, but it happened again this afternoon. The SX4 got it's command to stop recording and did so, but the router did not switch from the studio "live" back to the bulletin board. IT seems to only happen from this particular live input (studio B) when switching back to bulletin board or satellite downlink. And it happens about once in a 24 hour period. It also only happens from the cablecast schedule. When I force it, it works fine. Anyone have any ideas? Also, which is the best setting for live devices such as a satellite feed and the studio which we record and go live from. I am referring to the device settings under inputs in the Cablecast Menu. I have read the manual and looked at the video and still cannot find a definitive answer. The two choices for a non controllable device obviously are; 1.Playback Only or 2. None. Does it matter which we use in these two instances; Studio and Satellite Downlink?
