Simultaneous Broadcast on 2 Channels

In our daily schedule we have a news program that is broadcast simultaneously on two channels at the same time - throughout the day.

As I stated in an earlier post, our Cablecast system is running our Leightronix TCD/IP and Pro-16 router. The news program resides on one of our TCD/RP's. I schedule a normal play of the event on one channel. When I try to set a manual event (just to do the switch) for the program to come through on the other channel - it states that the originally scheduled program cannot find a playback device.

I may be setting the manual run, incorrectly. I specifically program a manual run on the desired channel, set the same time it is being broadcast on the original channel - give the same running time - set the Device to the same TCD/RP originally playing (I think this is where is gets messed up) and set the action to none - tried setting it to take -but I thought this caused an obvious conflict.

Anyone else broadcast the same program on two channels at the same time? Any other tricks or suggestions to get this to work? Basically I need Cablecast to tell the router to switch to the desired TCD/RP - while not interferring with the original play. I can manually force it on both channels - but that doesn't help.
