Sporatic Playback and Funky Audio
We are running Cablecast Release Version: 5.1.0 Build 18 Database Version: 5.0.0 from and SXLE that is 6 months old. It plays the schedule when it wants to and puts out trashed audio when it wants to. We are only running programming from the server and these programs are in MOV and MPEG2 format. The performace is not format specific. I cannot tell if a system reboot corrects the problem, though we have done several, as it happens when ever.
There are no errors reported nor any type of indication there is anything wrong unless you are actually watching and listening.

Sorry about the difficulty. You should try updating to our most recent release of Cablecast. If you're still having the problem, let us know right away and we'll take a peek.

FYI: Our current release is 4.7.5. I believe you received the 5.1.0 number from either Carousel or FrontDoor.
