System error when modifying a template.
I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but I get this error often when I am trying to modify an text block or picture block in a template. "Unexpected error has occurred, parameter is not valid."

Inappropriate?Hi Rosario,
Hmm, apologies for the error. :-\
What version of Carousel do you have installed? It's hard to tell exactly from the error message, but it looks like that might be an issue that was solved in one of our maintenance releases. The latest version as of this post is Carousel 5.2.6.

Inappropriate?Hi John, I just installed this server about a month ago. It is Carousel 5.2.6 Build 36.

Inappropriate?Well then it's definitely not what I was thinking. :-)
Could you export the troublesome bulletin(s) and send them to support@trms.com with a description of the problem, and any steps you remember taking that got them into this broken state? I'd like to see if we can reproduce it here.
You can find export instructions in my reply on this topic: http://gsfn.us/t/9dji
Thanks,
-John
I’m bummed that things are breaking

Inappropriate?I will send it to you immediately. Thanks.

Inappropriate?Hi Rosario,
I spent a long while working on this today, and I think I've got it figured out. There was some funky stuff going on with picture blocks whenever they had a rect outline set that made them progressively shrink whenever you updated the template. Eventually, they'd shrink so far that it would have a height of zero, which caused the error.
In any case, I've committed some fixes to the code, which should be available in the next maintenance release of Carousel, version 5.2.7. Stay tuned to the forums for an announcement on its release.
For reference, the bug number was 4146.
Thanks,
-John
I’m a little tired after a long day of bugsquishing
