TV & Web Schedule Display
Hello.
I'm interested in purchasing you Cablecast and Carousel Pro system for an upcomming project.
A question I have is that when the schedule is displayed on the internet and Carousel's schedule display, do you have one checkbox on the schedule interface for that day to prevent the event on the web display and another on the Carousel program schedule display to prevent these actions from being shown? My project with a sports channel uses commercials for programming support.
The other is: what support do you have for live broadcast feeds because they air a variety of local sports events.
I thank you all for your help and support.

Inappropriate?Hi Doug,
I can give you a couple quick answers, but your best bet is to give our fantastic sales department a call so we can answer all your questions. [8D]
First off, each show in Cablecast has a "CG Exempt" field that can be checked on or off. If CG Exempt is checked, then the show won't appear in the public web-schedule OR in Carousel's on-air schedule. The one checkbox affects both locations, and a few more too. Basically, no one will know that show is airing until it hits the air. [:D]
Cablecast's schedule allows you to also mark a single run of a show to be CG Exempt as well, instead of ALL runs of that show.
As to your second question, Cablecast will control a routing switcher, so if you have a live feed plugged into one of the router inputs, you can schedule that input to be taken to air. In other words, you can set a Show to be of a "Live" format, and Cablecast will simply switch to whatever Live input on the router you have set up for that show.
I hope that answers your questions some. If you have more, feel free to post 'em, or give us a call.
Thanks!
-John
