Unexpected Error in Carousel
I am fairly new to Carousel. I was working in Carousel a few minutes ago. I was looking for the background slide for the schedule page. While I was browsing around I was kicked out are received the following errors:
Error Tracking: Bug status error: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
Exception: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.
Stack Trace:at System.Data.ProviderBase.DbConnectionFactory.GetConnection(DbConnection owningConnection)
at System.Data.ProviderBase.DbConnectionClosed.OpenConnection(DbConnection outerConnection, DbConnectionFactory connectionFactory)
at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.Open()
at TRMS.Web.Carousel.DAToolbox.OpenConnection() in d:\src\carousel\Web\Carousel\Classes\DAToolbox.cs:line 76
at TRMS.Web.Carousel.MainMenu.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in d:\src\carousel\Web\Carousel\MainMenu.aspx.cs:line 74
any and all help would be appreciated.

Inappropriate?Hi Scott,
This error message is saying that the database is basically running out of available connections. So, when the website attempts to read something, it gets an error.
We've seen this problem crop up with a few systems recently, but we haven't been able to track down exactly why it's happening. Fortunately though, it generally goes away after a moment.
Could you possibly send an email to our support staff (support@trms.com) describing your system setup? Approximately how many users are on the system, if you're using the screensaver, public website, how many channels, etc. And if you can get it to happen at any sort of repeatable interval, that'd be helpful too.
Many apologies about the issue, but hopefully we can track it down.
Thank you,
-John
