Urgent: Error Message-Unable to Do Anything
Today I went into cablecast as I usually do only to find that the force matrix, save, cancel, format, and other command tabs cause an error message which is preventing me from changing anything except the schedule. I believe that this error is also causing our video server to not playback the files which are scheduled and just pushing a black screen over the air. I tried to re-boot the cablecast and video server machines with no success, and if it makes any difference we had a major power outage last night at around 5:30pm. As mentioned this is very urgent, I have left a message with technical support but any help is greatly appreciated.

This issue should be fixed in all versions of Cablecast from 4.6 and up. There are some workarounds available for earlier versions. Anyone who is still encountering this error should give our support team at support@trms.com and we'll get it fixed up. :-)

Inappropriate?We came in this morning to find that this error has happened to several people. I'll be posting an announcement about it soon.
The good news is, we do have a workaround available. Give our support line a call, and they should be able to help.

Inappropriate?Will anyone see my similar (maybe/maybe not) situation on an error message that is a year old? And I've tried calling tech support at 7 p.m. on a Friday night but I get nothing. Will anyone really let me know what is going on with my Cablecast before 9 a.m. on Monday?
