Using interactive bulletin - requires login? Index page will not load.
I've created a "demo" of the interactive plug-in, it's basically a food order screen. I've used a setup of about 6-7 HTML pages with the proper CSS and images zipped up into a file (making sure that the index.html is in the root of the zip file). When I set it up on the Carousel player, internet explorer does not load the page, with the possible reason saying that the page requires a login.
Any idea why this is happening/how to fix it?
Thanks,
Sean

Inappropriate?Hey Sean,
I'm going to through out a wild guess. I know sometimes zip files can carry over permissions. What I would do is before you archive the files for your interactive bulletin (the index.html, images, etc) Change the permissions on them so they are readable by everybody. Then try uploading the archive.
I'm making this guess because it seems like Cablecast isn't able to acutally read the files you upload in order to render them. Since its an instance of Internet explorer that is rendering the files, it would throw out the authentication required error message.
Hope you get it up and goin.

Inappropriate?I think we discovered the cause of this issue... The screen in Carousel says to upload an "index.html" file, but by default the IIS webserver doesn't recognize ".html" files. (It prefers ".htm" instead.)
We're working on correcting this in the next release, but for now, try renaming your index file to have a .htm extension.
