Watching/Timing MPEG2 Encodes
At Tightrope's suggestion, CEA is using MPEG2Cut software to trim our encodes. However, this software doesn't give timeode/counter displays, so we have no way of determining how long the trimmed video is. And, the Windows Media Player does not play the MPEG2 videos either, so we can't use that interface. So, what are other centers doing to watch and time video that they have encoded and trimmed?

Inappropriate? If you have a Mpeg2 Codec installed on your machine, Windows Media player "should" be able to play the video clip.
Otherwise purchase a copy of Elecard Player for $20. Nice little software mpeg player. It does have a time window for checking TRTs.
