Inappropriate?Occasionally, you may see that, when the display engine starts, is may complain that it is 'NOT LICENSED'. Typically, this happens because, on the Carousel server, the service started but the database has not yet caught up with it. If you wait a few moments, this condition may resolve itself.
If, after a few minutes, you still see the message, the system is unable to retrieve a license from the server. This might happen if you change a player’s IP address and try to reconnect it before Carousel drops its registration. To fix this:
- Step 1: Log into Carousel as the administrator.
- Step 2: From the main menu, click Configure from the right of the status bar.
- Step 3: Click 'System Configuration' and then click 'Display Engine Registration'.
- Step 4: Click the checkbox next to the Display Engine that you would like to un-register.
- Step 5: Click the Delete button.

Inappropriate? This is all well and good BUT (I presume that this is the "FrontDoor" that we are supposed to be logging into as admin) WE DON'T GET CONFIGURE ANYWHERE, so we continue to be stuck.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Christopher,
The menu structure in in Carousel 5.2 has changed slightly from what Pete described above, but the "Configure" button should be in the same spot.
You should see the "Configure" button once you've clicked into Carousel, after logging in as the Admin user through FrontDoor. Here's what the configure button looks like:

Once you're into the configure area, click on "Players"

Then click on "Player Status"

Then you should see a list of the registered players. Click the checkbox next to the player you'd like to unregister, and click the "Delete" button.

Does this help?
