Will a scheduled live event of 3 hour, with the record checked, record past the 3 hour mark if the channel is switched to live over ride due to live event running long?
This question is for Cablecast.
I schedule a live event for 3 hour and check the reocrd box to record to the cablecast while showing the event live, at 3hr and 50minutes ito the event (BOS mtng) they say they are going for another hour, this will run passed my 4hour schedule live event so I go and manualy over the event so the live meeting will not be cut off at the 4hour mark per the schedule, (sorry for being verbose) THE QUESTUESTION, Will the SX keep on recording the live meeting event pass the 4hours or will it stop at the 4hour mark??. If it stops how do I tell it to keep rcording till I trun off the over ride?
Thanks

Inappropriate?Hello.
I'm going to rephrase the question, just so we can be sure we are both on the same page.
What I think your asking is... If a show length (your meeting) changes while the show is airing what happens to the record event if you over ride the channel output so the show does not get cut off on air.
The answer:
I'm 99.9% sure that your record will still be cut off. This is because the recording is treated as a separate channel than what is actually going out over the air.
The way to fix this is to go into to the Autopilot menu and click Event Table Choose your record channel from the drop down box at the top. Then click the corresponding end event for your record event to edit it.

Now enter a new time, this should be when you expect your meeting to end.

Click Save and now scroll all the way to the bottom of the event list and click send.

This will send your modified event table. Note, that if you send autopilot before the show ends, this will overwrite your changes.
Hope this helps
